Harry Amos Assumes Presidency of the Arlington-Reims Sister City Committee On January 11 the members of the Arlington - Reims Sister City Committee chose, without dissent and effective immediately, Col. USA (ret.) Harry Amos as the new Committee President, replacing Charles Daris. The choice was accepted without objection by the ASCA Board of Directors. Honoring Women Throughout the World The American Women for International Understanding has extended an invitation for Sister Cities International members to attend its March 9 International Women of Courage banquet at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. These are just a few of the adjectives used by prior participants in SisterBike, the annual “sightseeing on a bicycle” trip conducted by the Arlington and Aachen Sister City Associations. These academic and cultural exchanges have resulted in ties that continue to bind the two Sister Cities and constitute lasting and positive experiences for the participating students.
