Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month September 21. The Arlington County Central Library and the Arlington Sister City Association will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month on September 21 at 2 pm in the library auditorium. The event will feature music and dancing, speakers, crafts and food from El Salvador. Elementary exchange guest families arrive from Aachen September 26 - October 3. UKRAINE DISASTER ASSISTANCE FUND FORMED! Western Ukraine including Ivano-Frankivsk was hit by the worst storm of the Century - the President of Ukraine has declared a 3-month state of emergency.
